BACKGROUND OF DIRECTOR:​

He was born in 1964 in Istanbul. He graduated from Istanbul Büyükçekmece High School Literature Department in 1981. In 1987, he started to work in Büyükçekmece Municipality under the Directorate of Editoring as an enforcement officer. In 1992 he was tasked as a Personnel Chief with the establishment of Directorate of Personnel. Later, in 1994 he took office as the Deputy Editor in Chief. Between 1999-2004, he worked as a founding officer to carry out the establishment and organization works of Bahçeşehir Municipality, which gained a legal identity as a result of the General Elections of Parliament and Local Administrations. He was appointed as the Editor-in-Chief and still holds this position.

Duties and Responsibilities of the  Directorate of Editoring:

 

  • To provide the necessary support for Büyükçekmece Municipal Council to work properly within the framework of the objectives, principles and policies of Büyükçekmece Municipality, the legislation to which we are bound and the principles to be determined by the Mayor’s Office, in line with the orders and directives of the mayor;
  • To carry out the council proceedings, to write the decisions, to prepare the minutes and ensure the follow-up of the approvals,
  • To coordinate the Specialization Commission Meetings, to write reports, to regulate attendance fees and to follow up the Council motions,
  • To carry out the personnel affairs of the members of the Municipal Council, to receive the incoming and outgoing documents in a controlled manner and to send them to the relevant units,
  • To carry out the work of the Municipal Committee Meetings that meet every Tuesday and/or Thursday. To follow the decisions of the council within the framework of the relevant legislation and regulations,
  • To ensure the realization of marriage contracts of persons applying to the municipality,
  • To carry out all kinds of procedures of the documents that come to and from the institution and to work in coordination with the relevant directorates,
  • To accept the Information Acquisition Applications submitted pursuant to Law No. 4982, and to ensure that they are responded,
  • To ensure the acceptance and recording of documents from public institutions and organizations,
