CLARIFICATION TEXT FOR ONLINE VISITORS ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

This Clarification Text has been prepared by T.R Büyükçekmece Municipality (hereinafter referred to as the "Organization") as data controller to inform you, our valued online visitors, about your personal data that we process in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as the "KVKK") No. 6698 and relevant legal regulations.

1.            Scope of Your Processed Personal Data and Processing

Personal data is any data that identifies you or makes it identifiable. For example, your name, surname, phone number or bank account information are personal data. Processing your personal data means all kinds of processes on your data such as obtaining, changing, saving, storing, deleting, explaining, transferring.

Your personal data is stored for a period stipulated in the relevant legislation or for the periods required by the processing purposes. Your data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized ex officio or upon your request, in case the legal grounds requiring data processing are eliminated.

4.       Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data

Relevant person refers to the real persons whose personal data are processed. You, our valued Online Visitors, as the relevant person, have the following rights regarding your personal data processed in accordance with the KVKK:

·         To learn whether your personal data is processed or not,

·         Requesting information if your personal data is processed,

·    To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with the purpose,

·         To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, in the country or abroad,

·         Requesting correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,

·   Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in KVKK c,

·     Requesting notification of the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, about the correction of incomplete or incorrect data and the deletion or destruction of personal data upon your request,

·      Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person herself/himself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

·      Requesting the compensation of the damage in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data

5.       Methods You Should Follow to Exercise Your Rights

Kişisel verileriniz ile ilgili başvuru ve taleplerinizi İlgili Kişi Başvuru Formu [COTT7] vasıtasıyla,

For your applications and requests regarding your personal data, through the Relevant Person Application Form [COTT7],

-         By sending to the address “Fatih Mah. Şehremini Sok. No:1 Büyükçekmece / İstanbul” with your original signature and a copy of your identity card,

-     By signing with secure electronic signature or mobile signature and sending it to kvkk@bcekmece.bel.tr e-mail address,

-    By signing with secure electronic signature or mobile signature and sending it to buyukcekmecebelediyesi@hs01.kep.tr via registered electronic mail (KEP),

-          By applying in person with a valid identity document

You can send it to the organization.

Within the scope of the legal obligations regarding the procedures and principles of application to the data controller, you, as the relevant person, must submit your name, surname, your signature if your application is written, your T.R. identity number if you are a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, your nationality if you are a foreigner, your passport number (or identity card number, if any), your place of residence or your business address  for notification, your e-mail address and fax number for notification, if any, and finally the subject of the request. In addition, you must include documents confirming the identity and information and documents related to the subject of the request in your application.

In order for us to operate the process in the most efficient way for you, you must clearly and understandably state which of your rights you want to exercise in your request, and the details of the process you request.

We would like to emphasize that the subject of the request must be related to the relevant person. If an application is made on behalf of someone else, the person making the request must rely on a specially documented authorization (power of attorney) for the requested process. Unauthorized applications will not be considered.

6.       Evaluation of Your Application

We evaluate your applications and reply to you as soon as possible. We reply within 30 days from the date of receipt of your application at the latest.
