Duties and Responsibilities of the Directorate of Information Technology:

 

• To provide technical support for the software and hardware needs of the units available in the municipality,
• To ensure the integration of computer automation in the municipality with procurement, installation and units, to create a common data bank,
• To perform or have all kinds of services performed related to infrastructure, data and other network planning required for information systems,
• To make maintenance and updates of the software installed on the existing computer systems in our municipality,
• To provide information exchange by establishing data communication infrastructure and necessary connection lines between internal and external units and other relevant institutions when necessary,
• To create the website of the municipality, to provide modern communication and information exchange, to transfer municipal services to the Internet environment to the extent permitted by the legislation, to provide citizen-oriented services on the internet,
• To assess the information technology needs of the municipality's internal and external units and affiliated organizations, all computer and computer by-products, hardware and software in line with developing information technologies, to provide the necessary technical support and to help relevant units work in coordination, to support determining, establishing and commissioning the computer hardware needs in this context, and to purchase when necessary,
• To maintain the hardware and software, to keep them active and to have them created by authorized companies with maintenance and repair agreements through tenders,
• To organize or have the training and information seminars organized,
• To analyze and supply future needs,
• To ensure the growth of computer systems in line with technological development,
• To take and implement the necessary safety measures to ensure the continuity of the systems,
• To ensure and implement data security,
• To ensure the compatibility of other environmental support units in order to keep the system constantly active, to coordinate the necessary improvement studies related to this,
• To maintain the photocopiers and printers, to providing on-site support,
• To create the necessary software and provide technical support,
• To install and maintain personnel control systems or have them carried out.
