BACKGROUND OF DIRECTOR:

He was born in 1987 in Seyhan district of Adana. He graduated from Sakarya University Mechanical Engineering Department in 2010. In 2018, he completed his master's degree in Sakarya University, Institute of Science, Department of Energy. In 2012, he started to work as a Mechanical Engineer in Büyükçekmece Municipality. Between 2012-2019, he worked as a reporter at the Directorate of Zoning and Urban Planning. He is still working as the License and Auditing Director, to which he was appointed in 2019.

To ensure that the workplaces have the necessary hygiene and their equipment are well-maintained, qualified and safe in terms of the health of our citizens and to be a directorate that has adopted corporate culture, adheres to ethical principles and has a holistic service policy.

 

Vision

 

To provide services to eliminate the negativities arising from workplace activities in the protection of public health and the environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of the Directorate of License and Auditing:

 

  • To license and inspect the sanitary workplaces, 2nd and 3rd class non-sanitary workplaces and public recreational and entertainment places within the scope of the Regulation on Opening a Workplace and Working Licenses No 2005/9207,
  • To prepare the directorate fee schedule and submit it to the Municipal Council,
  • to make the accrual of the fees and charges for the Opening a Business and Working License in accordance with the tariff accepted by the Municipal Council, for the licensing of workplaces,
  • In case of the transfer/renewal of licensed workplaces, to carry out the transfer/renewal procedures and to issue a new license on behalf of the relevant person,
  • To cancel the licenses of the workplaces whose activities are deemed unsuitable with the Consent of the Mayor’s Office and to take a decision to ban them from operations,
  • To issue documents and to accrue a document fee for businesses that sell/offer hookah and alcoholic beverages,
  • To work in coordination with the Fire Prevention Unit of the Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, to examine the workplaces requesting a license in terms of fire measures,
  • To enter the avenue, street and door numbers of the workplaces in the existing licenses in accordance with the new regulations made by the Metropolitan Municipality,
  • To evaluate the complaints of citizens within the framework of the legislation of the Directorate, to take the necessary actions and to inform the relevant people about the result,
  • To prepare the Strategic Plan and Performance program,
  • To prepare the budget of the Directorate in line with the plan and performance targets.
