CLARIFICATION TEXT ON PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA FOR ONLINE VISITORS

This Clarification Text has been prepared by the Büyükçekmece Municipality as the Data Controller (the “Organization”) to inform you, our valuable online visitors, about your personal data that we will process with your explicit consent pursuant to the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as "KVKK") and the relevant legal regulations.

Your Processed Personal Data and the Scope of Its Process

Personal data are any data that identifies or enable to identify your identity. For instance, your name and surname, phone number or address are personal data. Processing your personal data refers to obtain, modification, save, keep, delete, describe, transfer processes. In case of your explicit consent, the details of the personal data we will process through our mobile application are given below:

Our Preservation Period of Your Personal Data

Your personal data is stored for a period stipulated in the relevant legislation or for the periods required by the processing purposes. Your data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized ex officio or upon your request, in case the legal grounds requiring data processing are eliminated.

Your Rights Regarding Your Data

Relevant person refers to the real persons whose personal data are processed. You, as the online visitors, have the following rights regarding your personal data processed in accordance with the KVKK:

• To learn whether your personal data is processed or not,
• Requesting information if your personal data is processed,
• To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with the purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, in the country or abroad,
• Requesting correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
• Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in KVKK c,
• Requesting notification of the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, about the correction of incomplete or incorrect data and the deletion or destruction of personal data upon your request,
• Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person herself/himself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• Requesting the compensation of the damage in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data.

Methods You Should Follow to Exercise Your Rights

For your applications and requests regarding your personal data, through the Relevant Person Application Form,

• By sending to the address “Fatih Mah. Şehremini Sok. No:1 Büyükçekmece / İstanbul” with your original signature and a copy of your identity card,
• By signing with secure electronic signature or mobile signature and sending it to kvkk@bcekmece.bel.tr e-mail address,
• By signing with secure electronic signature or mobile signature and sending it to buyukcekmecebelediyesi@hs01.kep.tr via registered electronic mail (KEP),
• By applying in person with a valid identity document you can send it to the organization.

Within the scope of the legal obligations regarding the procedures and principles of application to the data controller, you, as the relevant person, must submit your name, surname, your signature if your application is written, your identity number if you are a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, your nationality if you are a foreigner, your passport number (or identity card number, if any), your place of residence or your business address  for notification, your e-mail address and fax number for notification, if any, and finally the subject of the request. In addition, you must include documents confirming the identity and information and documents related to the subject of the request in your application.

In order for us to operate the process in the most efficient way for you, you must clearly and understandably state which of your rights you want to exercise in your request, and the details of the process you request.

We would like to emphasize that the subject of the request must be related to the relevant person. If an application is made on behalf of someone else, the person making the request must rely on a specially documented authorization (power of attorney) for the requested process. Unauthorized applications will not be considered.

Evaluation of your Application

We evaluate your applications and get respond you as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days from the date of receiving your application.
