Awards were given in the International Güler Ertan Photography Contest.

Photographers who were entitled to receive awards in the International Güler Ertan Photography Contest, which has an important place among the international contests of the International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, got their awards at a ceremony.

This year, 823 photographers from various countries participated in the International Güler Ertan Photography Contest with 3044 photographs. The jury members of the contest, themed as ‘’Ecological Imbalance’’, were comprised of Ioannis Lykouris, Christina Garzone, Burak Şenbak, Prof. Dr. Güler Ertan and Assoc. Dr. Bekir Tuğcu, Medals were presented to the owners of the photographs that were awarded in the categories of free color, free monochrome and ecological imbalance, at the award ceremony held at the Kemal Sunal Amphitheater.

Mayor of Büyükçekmece and Honorary Chairman of Festival Committee Dr. Hasan Akgün, Büyükçekmece Municipality Coordinator and Co-Chairman of Executive Committee H. Gürhan Ozanoğlu and President of Büyükçekmece Photography Association Hürriyet Akın presented their medals to the award- winning photographers.

FIAP Gold Medal: Ekrem Şahin (Türkiye)

TFSF Gold Medal: Sultan Ahmed Niloy (Bangladesh)
