Kurşunlu Inn

SULTAN SÜLEYMAN CARAVANSERAI

It is also called Leaded Inn since its roof is covered with lead. It was built in 1566. It is a closed-type caravanserai without a courtyard. It was built using one row of face stone, two rows of bricks, and joints. There are two rows of windows on the rear front. There is a large area in the middle of the caravanserai for animals and cargo. This place is divided into two by a row of concrete posts. Passengers could leave their cargo or animals in this section. They used the part on which furnaces and niches were built, as a resting and sleeping area.
