Parade which 64 attended with Their Traditional Costumes was Just like the Rio Carnival

A parade was organized by Büyükçekmece Municipality within the scope of 23rd International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival. While art ambassadors from 64 countries attending the parade with their traditional costumes, hundreds of people from Büyükçekmece wore the “ecology” themed handicraft costumes.

Parade was colorful and enthusiastic also this year

The performance of the dancers on the parade who gathered from all over the World within the scope of the International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival highly appreciated by the public. Representatives from countries introduced their own cultures as well as send peace messages all together. At the end of the parade, persormance of “Yeni Türkü” band which is the popular music band in Türkiye was unforgettable for those attended. Festival will continue with dance performances from 64 countries, concerts, exhibitions, workshops and other activities until the 6^th of August.

“It became World’s best Culture and Art Festival for 8 Times”

Mayor of Büyükçekmece who stated that the World’s Best Culture and Art Festival award was taken 8 times continued as “We start the 23rd International Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival by saluting thousands of people. Everybody understands the meaning of the salutation of the 1500 art ambassadors to Büyükçekmece people from 64 countries. This Festival became one of CIOFF’s and FIDAF’s significant festivals. For this reason it received the World’s best culture and art festival award for 8 times.”
