International Sculpture Symposium started in Büyükçekmece.

The International Sculpture Symposium, one of the most important parts of the 23rd International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, has started.

The International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, which was awarded the "World's best culture and art festival" 8 times by the World Festivals Association, brought together sculptors from different countries of the world this year. The works of sculptors, who started to shape block marbles on the theme of ecology, are eagerly awaited by art lovers.

6 Countries have attended this year

This year, artists from 6 countries are participating in the International Sculpture Symposium, which takes place every year as part of the 23rd International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, which will take place between 29 July – 6 August. For the International Sculpture Symposium curated by Nurettin Bektaş, Wiktar Kopacz from Poland, Panagiotis Lamprau from Greece, Milton Ramon Estrella from Ecuador, Jumber Jikia from Georgia, Milena Mladenova from Bulgaria, Nilhan Sesalan and Mustafa Bulat from Türkiye works on marble.
