Festival preparations continues in Büyükçekmece.

Büyükçekmece Municipality stepped up its work just days before the start of the International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival.

1300 culture and art ambassadors from 64 countries will attend the International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, which will be held for the 23rd time this year.

The International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, which has been held under limited conditions for the last 2 years due to the pandemic, will take place between 29 July and 6 August this year.

“The best festival in the world”

As part of the preparations, the municipal teams, which continue their work in many parts of the district, decorate the walls and blockhouses in and around Kültürpark, where the festival events will take place, with pictures. The pictures drawn by the Büyükçekmece Municipality Art Academy instructors add a different beauty and meaning to the festival and attract the attention of the people of the district. The International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, which has been awarded the "World's best culture and art festival" 7 times by the World Festivals Association, is a candidate to be the "best" this year as well.
