Büyükçekmece will host 64 countries!

1500 culture and art ambassadors from 64 countries will attend the International Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, which will be held for the 23rd time this year.

 

 The International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, which has been held under limited conditions for the last 2 years due to the pandemic, will take place between 29 July and 6 August this year. The festival is getting ready to make a name for itself once again with its international events, exhibitions, public concerts, as well as full of cultural and artistic activities.

 

The International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, which has been awarded the "World's best culture and art festival" 7 times by the World Festivals Association, will bring together 1500 culture and art ambassadors from 64 countries between 29 July and 6 August.

 

Cultural and artistic events are also full of activities this year.

23rd International Istanbul Büyükçekmece Culture and Art Festival, International Altınköprü Folk Dance Competition, International Altınköprü Contemporary Dance Competition, International Sculpture Symposium, International Workshop Festival – Traditional Handicrafts Exhibition, International Güler Ertan Photography Competition award ceremony and exhibition, Journey to the Roots "Voices Rising from the Threshold" door knockers, keys, locks and candlestick exhibition, Istanbul's bells exhibition, Water and Flyboard shows and Turkish Food Exhibition will attract tens of thousands of people to Büyükçekmece every day this year.

 

Popular artists will take the stage at public concerts.

 

Popular artists Yeni Türkü, Melek Mosso, Buray, Haluk Levent and Koray Avcı will meet with their fans at this year's public concerts to be held as part of the festival. This year, life-long honor award, press honor award and press achievement awards will be given in the field of culture and arts.
