Celaliye Okra and Siyez Wheat were Introduced at the Karaevli Agriculture Fair

Büyükçekmece Municipality, which has implemented many projects in the field of science-based agriculture and new applications in agriculture, introduced Celaliye okra and Siyez wheat that are cultivated with scientific techniques at Tekirdağ Karaevli Agriculture and Technology Fair. At the fair, new agricultural tools, seeds, fertilizers and pesticides, as well as products such as sunflower, corn and sorghum planted in the trial areas, were also introduced.

11th anniversary of Karaevli Agriculture and Technology Days

The opening of the 11th Karaevli Agriculture and Technology Fair was held with the participation of Governor Enver Salihoğlu. Büyükçekmece Municipality Council Members Murat Erçağ, Nevzat Sezen, Fatih Çınar, Vice Mayor Muzaffer Cive, Director of Agriculture Gözde Göçmen Öztürk also attended the opening.

Fair will Continue Until 4th of September

81 companies across Turkey participated in the fair organized by the German Agricultural Union (DLG) in Tekirdag. Onur Kiraz, the General Manager of DLG Fairs, stated that they are happy to organize the fair for 11 years with the participation of many companies every year. Tekirdağ Karaevli Agriculture and Technology Days, which helps producers to be aware of agricultural developments around the world, will end on September 4.
